Blue Background!!!!

Jo Yuan is a Chinese, Taiwanese, and Korean American actor, voice artist, and audiobook narrator based in Los Angeles. Whether she is onstage, on camera, behind the mic, or in the Iron Temple chasing gains and protein—she goes to the gym, we get it—Jo brings strong character instincts, emotional specificity, and a healthy amount of cheekiness to her work.

Trained in Meisner, improv, sketch, and Clown, Jo is also a dedicated wushu practitioner specializing in straight sword, spear, staff, and empty hand. Her voiceover credits include lead dubbing roles for Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, and Amazon Prime, along with work in commercials, anime, video games, and audio description. In 2024, she was selected as one of 24 narrators for the Macmillan Audio Digital New Narrator program, and in 2025, she was recognized as part of Building Doors VO’s Door Builders.

Outside the booth, Jo is a full-time beverage goblin with strong opinions about coffee, tea, cocktails, and spirits. She is also a devoted cat foster, dog walker, seasonal cookie baker, and unsolicited financial-literacy evangelist who firmly believes her friends need high-yield savings accounts and Roth IRAs.

A lifelong Angeleno, Jo loves Los Angeles history, astrology, Human Design, and any excuse to discuss why the Los Angeles Breakfast Club is one of the city’s greatest institutions. She is an active member of the Television Academy, NAVA, APA, CODA, PANA, and the Asian American Theatre Artists Collective.

Jo is especially interested in narrating YA, middle grade, closed-door romantic comedy, literary fiction, science fiction, and self-help. For stories with heart, humor, strong character work, and a little extra mala spice, Jo is ready to bring it.
