Jo Yuan is an Asian American (Chinese/Taiwanese/Korean) actor from the OC. With a diverse training background in the Meisner technique, on-camera acting, voiceover, and various forms of comedy--including long-form improv, sketch, and Clown--Jo brings versatility and authenticity to every role. Their work spans theatre, voiceover, and television—with a recent recurring role on General Hospital and selected for ABC’s Workshop Week and NBCUniversal’s Launch programs in partnership with East West Players.
On stage, Jo has performed with East West Players, IAMA Theatre, Artists at Play, and PlayGround LA, known for bringing versatility, wit, and unexpected heart to every role.
Their voiceover credits include lead and recurring roles on Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, and Amazon Prime, and they recently narrated Counterattacks at Thirty for HarperCollins. Jo was named a Macmillan Audio Digital New Narrator (2024) as one of only 24 selected from over 350 applicants.
She is an active member of the Television Academy, NAVA (National Association of Voice Actors), APA (Audio Publishers Association), CODA (Coalition of Dubbing Actors), PANA (Professional Audiobook Narrators Association), Artists Rise Up Los Angeles, Asian American Theatre Artists Collective, and the Los Angeles Breakfast Club!
